This portrait of this river scene was taken after I had exhausted my window of opportunity to find and photograph Bull elk, bugling late Sept at Rocky Mountain National park. As I turned to leave, this is what I was met with. Thankful I had not put away my equipment.
Blue ribbon and People's Choice awards at various shows. Most recent win in the Photograpy division at Alpine Artist's Holiday, Ouray, CO
About Marta Alfred
I think I was born with a camera in hand. A Brownie camera! I graduated through the years with the introduction of each new style. The Polaroid, the 110 instamatic, and for High School graduation, a Canon AE-1. College for Photography technology helped with the technicals, but as I was very much an introvert, landscapes and inanimate objects were my portrait of choice! When Digital came on the scene, I embraced that technology, attending workshops to best appreciate my new camera and the processing that goes with the capture.
